• Heatmaps and scroll behaviour — collected via Microsoft Clarity (anonymised)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process and fulfil your helicopter yatra booking
• To communicate booking confirmations, itinerary details, and pre-trip information
• To complete Uttarakhand government portal registration on your behalf
• To respond to enquiries submitted via website, WhatsApp, phone, or email
• To send relevant updates about your booking dates, weather conditions, or schedule changes

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only as necessary to fulfil your booking:

• Aviation operators: Your name, ID, and weight (for helicopter safety) are shared with our DGCA-approved aviation partners
• Hotels: Your name and ID are shared for hotel check-in purposes
• Uttarakhand Government Portal: Registration details are submitted to the official government yatra registration system
• Temple trusts: Names for VIP darshan pre-booking

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. Data Retention

Booking-related personal data is retained for 5 years from the date of the yatra, as required for financial and tax record-keeping purposes under Indian law.

Website analytics data is retained per the Google Analytics 4 default retention period (14 months).

Enquiry data (where no booking was made) is retained for 12 months.

5. Cookies

Our website uses the following cookies:

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the website or make a booking.

6. WhatsApp Communications

When you contact us via WhatsApp, your number and conversation are processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform. Meta's privacy policy applies to WhatsApp communications. We use WhatsApp solely to respond to enquiries and manage your booking — we do not add you to broadcast lists or send marketing messages without your explicit consent.

7. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data. Our website is served over HTTPS. Booking-related data is stored on secure systems with access restricted to our team members directly involved in operations.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our obligations seriously and will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your personal information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for any marketing communications at any time

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age independently. If a child is part of a booking, their data is collected as part of the family booking and used solely for yatra administration.
