A compact seven-day Uttarakhand sightseeing tour covering the four classic stops at a faster pace than the longer 7N/8D variant: Mussoorie (the Queen of the Hills) for two nights, Rishikesh (the Yoga Capital, with the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat) for one night, Nainital (Naini Lake and the Naina Devi temple) for two nights, and a final night at Jim Corbett National Park for an optional jungle safari. Ex-Dehradun / Haridwar. Subject to weather and regulatory clearance.
TL;DR · This is a sightseeing tour, not a Char Dham helicopter pilgrimage. You spend 2 nights at each of Mussoorie and Nainital, 1 night at Rishikesh and 1 night at Jim Corbett - the four-stop Garhwal + Kumaon circuit at a tighter pace than the 7N/8D variant. Best season: March to June and September to November (Corbett is open mid-November to mid-June; check current park dates). Mussoorie local sightseeing

After breakfast, full-day local sightseeing - Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Library Chowk, Bhatta Falls, Mall Road, Gun Hill (by ropeway, own cost) and Camel Back Road. Overnight at Mussoorie.

Mussoorie -> Rishikesh

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Visit Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula. Evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Rishikesh sits at around 1,360 ft above sea level and is dotted with ancient Hindu temples, ashrams and yoga and meditation centres along the Ganga. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Rishikesh -> Nainital

After breakfast, long transfer day to Nainital. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Nainital.

After breakfast, drive to Jim Corbett. En route visit the Corbett Museum. Check in at the jungle resort. Corbett National Park (est. 1973) is one of India's premier wildlife reserves - home to tigers, Indian elephants and leopards. Overnight at Jim Corbett.

Jim Corbett -> Dehradun Airport

Optional early-morning shared jeep safari at Corbett (own cost - can be pre-booked on request). After breakfast, check out and drive to Dehradun Airport for onward journey.

Mussoorie - the Queen of the Hills
Mussoorie sits in the Garhwal foothills above Dehradun. Two nights here cover Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Library Chowk, Bhatta Falls, Camel Back Road and the Mall Road - plus the Gun Hill ropeway (own cost) for a panoramic Doon Valley view. Cool air, colonial-era buildings and a walkable hill-station strip.
Rishikesh - the Yoga Capital
Rishikesh at the Ganga's exit from the Himalayas is dotted with ancient temples, ashrams and meditation centres. The classic stops on this single-night stop are Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula - and the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat is the headline experience.
Nainital - Naini Lake
Nainital is built around the eye-shaped Naini Lake in the Kumaon hills. Boating on the lake (own cost), the lakeside Naina Devi temple (one of the 51 Shakti Peethas), the Cave Garden, Mall Road and the Snow View Point cable car (own cost, optional) are the standard half-day round.
Jim Corbett National Park
India's first national park, established in 1973 as part of Project Tiger. The reserve is home to Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, leopards and a wide range of birdlife. The shared jeep safari at dawn (own cost - pre-bookable on request) is the highlight; the Corbett Museum near the entrance is a quick en-route stop.

Important notes
- All vehicles in the hills are non-AC. AC does not work in the hilly / ghat region. Mountain hotel services cannot be compared to plain areas - we use the best available at each stop.
- Vehicles are not allowed at Mall Road in Nainital or Mussoorie. The vehicle parks where local rules allow; guests walk in from the parking point. Plan light luggage for these legs.
- AC Tempo Travellers and large coaches are restricted at Nainital by the local transport union and are stopped before town. From there, guests manage onward access on their own (including for luggage).
- The Gun Hill ropeway, Naini Lake boating and the Nainital cable car are excluded - paid direct on the day.
- The Jim Corbett jeep safari is excluded - shared safaris can be booked on the morning, or pre-booked on request. Park entry timings and safari zones are subject to forest department rules.
- Drink only tap or boiled water; eat only hot, freshly cooked food in the hills. Carry a light jacket, raincoat, walking shoes and personal medication.
- In case of any hike in hotel rates, the package cost will be amended accordingly. During festivals and long weekends, these prices are not valid - quoted on request.
- If the group does not arrive or depart together, additional transfer charges apply.
- Any expense incurred due to weather, road closures, or landslides is not covered. We will re-route where possible but cannot guarantee completion if a road is shut.
