Trek + AuliVOF + Joshimath ropeway, no helicopter
TL;DR · This is a trekking yatra, not a Char Dham helicopter pilgrimage. You walk 14 km up to Ghangaria and 5 km each way into the Valley of Flowers - reasonable fitness required. Best season: July to early September (full bloom). The ropeway from Joshimath up to Auli is the climax - a Himalayan meadow at ~2,500 m with snow in winter and bugyal flowers in early summer. For destination context see our Valley of Flowers travel guide. Want all four Dhams too? See our Char Dham 9N/10D by road.
