TL;DR · This is a plains-and-foothills sightseeing tour, not a Char Dham helicopter pilgrimage and not a high-altitude trek. You spend 1 night at Haridwar, 2 nights at Rishikesh, and 2 nights at Mussoorie - the gentlest of our Uttarakhand circuits, suitable year-round and ideal for seniors and families with young children. Day 2
Haridwar sightseeing -> Rishikesh

After breakfast, local sightseeing in Haridwar - Chandi Devi Temple, Mansa Devi Temple and Shanti Kunj. Drive to Rishikesh and visit Bharat Mandir, Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Janki Jhula and Gita Bhawan. Rishikesh sits at around 415 m on the Ganga as it exits the Himalayas.

Day 3
Rishikesh local sightseeing
Local
After breakfast, half-day local sightseeing of the Rishikesh ashram and ghat circuit. Evening at the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat - a quieter, more meditative ceremony than at Haridwar. Return to the hotel.

Day 4
Rishikesh -> Mussoorie
90 km, ~2-3 hrs
Check out and drive towards Mussoorie. En route stop at Deer Park (Malsi) and Mussoorie Lake before checking into the hotel. Mussoorie is the Queen of the Hills, perched at around 2,000 m above the Doon Valley.

Haridwar - Har Ki Pauri
Haridwar is one of the seven holiest cities in Hinduism, where the Ganga leaves the Himalayan foothills for the plains. The headline experience is the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri ghat - lamps released onto the river and synchronised priestly chanting. Day 2 covers Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi (both reachable by ropeway, own cost) and Shanti Kunj.
Rishikesh - the Yoga Capital
Rishikesh at the Ganga's exit from the Himalayas is dotted with ancient temples, ashrams and meditation centres. The classic stops are the Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges, the Bharat Mandir, Janki Jhula and Gita Bhawan - and the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat is the headline experience. Two full nights here gives time for an ashram visit or a yoga session.
Mussoorie - the Queen of the Hills
Mussoorie sits in the Garhwal foothills above Dehradun. Two nights here cover Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Library Chowk, Bhatta Falls, Camel Back Road and the Mall Road - plus the Gun Hill ropeway (own cost) for a panoramic Doon Valley view. Important notes
- All vehicles in the hills are non-AC. AC does not work in the hilly / ghat region. Mountain hotel services cannot be compared to plain areas - we use the best available at each stop.
- Vehicles are not allowed at Mall Road in Mussoorie. The vehicle parks where local rules allow; guests walk in from the parking point. Plan light luggage for this leg.
- The Gun Hill ropeway at Mussoorie and the Mansa Devi / Chandi Devi ropeways at Haridwar are excluded - paid direct on the day.
- Drink only tap or boiled water; eat only hot, freshly cooked food in the hills. Carry a light jacket, raincoat, walking shoes and personal medication.
- In case of any hike in hotel rates, the package cost will be amended accordingly. During festivals and long weekends, these prices are not valid - quoted on request.
- If the group does not arrive or depart together, additional transfer charges apply.
- Any expense incurred due to weather, road closures, or landslides is not covered. We will re-route where possible but cannot guarantee completion if a road is shut.
