Pickup ex-Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station. Subject to weather and regulatory clearance.

Pickup at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station. Drive towards Mussoorie. En route stop at Deer Malsi Park and Mussoorie Lake. Check in at the hotel. Mussoorie is the Queen of the Hills at ~2,000 m.

Local sightseeing
After breakfast, full day local sightseeing - Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Library Chowk, Bhatta Falls. Evening at Mall Road, Gun Hill (by ropeway, own payment), Camel Back Road. Vehicle is not allowed at Mussoorie Mall Road - the vehicle parks where permitted and guests walk from there.

After breakfast drive down to Rishikesh. Check in at the hotel and rest. Rishikesh sits at ~415 m and is the Yoga Capital of the World, where the Ganga exits the Himalayas. Evening at leisure on the riverside ghats.

Local sightseeing
After breakfast visit Bharat Mandir, Lakshman Jhula bridge, Ram Jhula, Janki Jhula and Gita Bhawan. Evening at the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Return to the hotel.
Overnight: Rishikesh

After breakfast, check out and drive to Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station for onward journey.

Mussoorie sits at ~2,000 m and is known as the Queen of the Hills. The local sightseeing circuit covers Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Library Chowk, Bhatta Falls, Camel Back Road and the famous Mall Road. The Gun Hill viewpoint - reached by ropeway at own cost - opens up a panorama of the Doon valley and the Garhwal foothills. Vehicle access on Mall Road is restricted; the vehicle parks where permitted and guests walk from there.
Rishikesh at ~415 m is the Yoga Capital of the World, where the Ganga exits the Himalayas. The classic stops are the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan Ashram, the Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges, Bharat Mandir, Janki Jhula and Gita Bhawan. The riverside ashrams along the Ganga banks define the town.
The package picks up ex-Dehradun Airport (the closest airport to both Mussoorie and Rishikesh) or Haridwar Railway Station. Mussoorie is ~80 km from Dehradun (2-3 hrs); Rishikesh is ~25 km from Dehradun (40 min). All vehicles are non-AC in the hill sections - A/C does not work on ghat / hill gradients.
If you want a longer Garhwal sightseeing tour that adds Chopta and Auli, the 5N/6D variant is the natural step up. If you are flying into Delhi instead of Dehradun, the ex-Delhi sister package mirrors this exact circuit with a longer road transfer. For pilgrims, the Char Dham helicopter package compresses all four Dhams into 5 nights.
